Downloader for TT is designed to minimize data collection. The app only collects information that is needed to provide its core features.

• No account or login data — The app does not require or collect user accounts, usernames, passwords, or login credentials.
• Video URLs you paste — When you enter a TikTok URL, the app sends it to the third-party API to fetch metadata and download links. These URLs are not stored on our servers after the request completes.
• Downloaded videos — Videos you download are saved locally on your device, in the app’s private external files directory. We do not upload downloaded media to our servers.
• Device identifiers — Advertising IDs and other device identifiers may be used by Google AdMob to serve ads and measure ad performance.
• Crash and analytics data — Anonymous crash reports and usage statistics are collected through Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to improve app stability.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging token — If you enable push notifications, a token may be used to deliver messages.

2. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

• To fetch video metadata and download links from the third-party API.
• To allow users to download videos, view download progress, and manage their local gallery.
• To serve ads through Google AdMob and to evaluate ad performance.
• To analyze crash reports and app usage so we can improve stability and fix issues.
• To send notifications only if you choose to enable push notifications.

3. Third-Party Services

Downloader for TT relies on third-party services. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

4. Data Storage & Security

Downloaded videos are stored only on your device in the app’s private external files directory. We do not transfer your downloaded video files to our own servers.

The app may store metadata locally, such as titles, file paths, region, timestamps, and other information needed to manage downloads. Local storage is used to keep track of video files and improve app usability.

App preferences and sensitive settings may be protected with encrypted storage where supported by the device.

We use reasonable security measures to protect personal information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete downloaded videos individually or clear all downloads from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes the app’s local data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Downloader for TT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. User Rights

If you are subject to GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information. Because most data is stored locally on your device, the best way to exercise these rights is to delete data within the app or uninstall the app.
